Privacy Policy

Information processed by Promptle

You can browse Promptle without creating an account. Promptle does not send your prompt text, search terms, name, or email address to Google Analytics.

• Analytics: If you select “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics receives limited usage information such as pages viewed, general device and browser details, approximate location, and interactions with site features.
• Sign-in: If you use Google sign-in, Google and Firebase Authentication process account information needed to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier.
• Feedback: The feedback form prepares a message in your email application. Promptle receives the message, name, and reply email only if you choose to send that email.
• Technical information: Hosting and security providers may process routine request information, including IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the service.

Browser storage

Promptle uses local browser storage to remember your analytics choice, favorite prompts, and prompts you save through the submission form. Those favorites and saved submissions remain on your device and are not uploaded by the current submission feature. Clearing browser data may remove them.

Analytics choices

Google Analytics does not load unless you select “Allow analytics.” If you decline, Promptle saves that preference and does not send analytics events. You can reopen Privacy choices on any page to change your selection.

Why information is used

Promptle uses information only as needed to:

• operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
• authenticate authorized users;
• understand which pages and features are useful when analytics consent is granted; and
• respond to feedback or requests you send.

Service providers

Promptle uses Google services, including Firebase Hosting, Firebase Authentication, and Google Analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Promptle does not sell personal information or use analytics for personalized advertising.

Retention and your choices

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, subject to provider settings and legal requirements. You may decline analytics, change your analytics choice, clear Promptle’s browser storage, sign out, or contact Promptle to ask about information you previously sent by email.

Children’s privacy

Promptle is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not send personal information through the feedback form if you are not permitted to do so.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when Promptle’s features or privacy practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised update date.
